          โดยผู้เล่นจะได้รับบทเป็นหัวหน้าแก๊ง Third Street Saints ที่ต้องต่อสู้กับองค์กรอาชญากรรม Syndicate เพื่อแย่งชิงเมือง Steelport
โดยในเวอร์ชั่น Remaster นี้ ตัวเกมได้รับการยกเครื่องอัปเกรดกราฟิกใหม่ทำให้ภาพของเกมดูดีขึ้น ทั้งแสงสี และปรับปรุงระบบเสียงให้ออกมาดี มีการปรับปรุงกราฟิก , แสง , สภาพแวดล้อม , โมเดลตัวละคร , วิชวลเอฟเฟกต์ และอื่น ๆยิ่งขึ้น นอกจากนั้นตัวเกมฉบับรีมาสเตอร์ยังมัดรวม DLC ทั้งหมด กว่า 30 ตัวเอาไว้เป็นที่เรียบร้อย
